About Us

Telangana state has a total of 41,648 Schools covering 33 districts that include Primary Schools, Upper Primary Schools and High Schools. The total student enrolment from Primary to High School is 66,38,007. The total Teachers' strength is 3,05,668.

The School Education Department, Government of Telangana is committed to educating and nurturing all students - from providing better access, promoting enrolment and retention to providing equity, quality and school infrastructure.
